Going to South Africa as a study abroad student interested in learning about their health care models, I am really interested in seeing the coming developments.
It will be interesting if South Africa learns from previous models, especially NIH in Britain, to optimize the system that they want to implement. Unlike America with Obamacare, South Africa doesn't have to build off of previous broken systems. Having 70 years of historical analysis, South African officials are in a unique situation to build a truly efficient system.
