Algorithmic medicine is a trend I am very curious on following. Following from my understanding of basic statistics, even if watson can provide average care consistently, it will provide better care than 50% of physicians. With Watson, patients know the caliber of care they are receiving; unless physician/hospital data is published, patients have no idea right now whether they are getting treatment from a bottom 50% or top 50% physician.
